Can't believe I'm seeing this. I was the last owner before it got taken off the road in 2017, always regretted selling it. I'd always assumed it got broken up or scrapped - the alloys were worth more then than the rest of the car was. So happy to see it running again, thank you so much for giving it some love!

Hey, that's my old car! I owned it about 15 years ago. Great to see it's almost back on the road. There was a thick file of service history with it - hopefully that got passed on to you? The previous owner had the engine rebuilt following a broken cambelt, and I had a load of work done by Jamie Porter at the Alfa Workshop in Herts.

Hi, love the vid! Thanks for posting! 🤩 $25k US for an Abarth auto is what I recently paid. I added Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (not cheap and complicated, but I outsourced it to a professional vendor), and really like that; difficult not to have it. I too have the GFB DV+, 500madness lowering springs, Goodwin racing cat back track exhaust sounds mega, but would sound better with a tune. 😉 I’d enjoy more 124 posts, please! 🤩😍 Thank you

Why does ANYONE care about apple car play? Don't know how to connect blue tooth for streaming? Can't use Waze or Google maps? It doesn't do a damn thing on it's own and is SO dang intrusive. Hell frequently can't turn it off, turns itself on over and over. PITA

What amount of boost is it using to add 40 hp? I like the look but if it's using 20+lbs of boost to hit 160, then what to make 200???? Those engines have a scary amount of hoses running in a out of them. Mazdas motor looks positively naked next to it.

What a great video. These are underrated cars and on RUclips we just get a few reviews, but not a video like this of enthusiasts appreciating it and bonding over it. This was very rewarding to see. Thank you for sharing. PS. That green one is crazy!

My personal opinion is all the add ons is more superficial than anything else. I think for all the money spent on these "upgrades" it doesn't really improve the performance all that much compared to that of a stock 124.

I had the pleasure to test drive the 124 Spider when it was available, and just a beautiful driving experience. The thing i didn't like about the car, was its expensive to maintain Fiat 1.4L Twin Air turbo engine. A similar engine as fitted to their Abarth 595, which i owned, but was pricey to maintain, with the very specific and expensive 10W 50 Selina oil. Once my mind had been made up to get a small sportscar, the 124 had been removed from sale, discontinued, so i bought an MX5 instead. Naturally aspirated Japanese engine, with none of the associated problems with turbo chargers.

Do you think Tune4Performance could send me a tune to North America? If so, how can I reach them?
